It Starts Now. San Diego Restaurant Week!

Just thinking about it makes my mouth water…San Diego Restaurant Week.

8 days. Over 180 restaurants. If you are in any way food inclined, whether you are a full blown foodie or your favourite meal is hot dogs on the grill while you gear up for the big game, there is something for all of you. One of my all time favourite spots to dine out here in San Diego is Beau – Bo’s Kitchen and Bar in Ocean Beach. And their spectacular fixed menu for restaurant week will leave you wanting more. Or leave you wanting no more at all. Because you’ve just eaten so much food you couldn’t possibly take another bite. However, if you subscribe by the childhood rules of me and my little brother, dessert is saved for a separate section in your body. Usually, you have room in one whole leg for dessert that the “normal” food doesn’t touch. So you always have room for dessert. I still live by that rule today.

If you’re on the lookout for something a little more low key, with fresh California fare and beer on the menu, check out PB Ale House this restaurant week. And with it being a mere block away from the water, you could swing on by for a beachy midday lunch and be back to your blanket in time to catch the last good rays of the day.

Is downtown, in the heart of the bright lights of the city, people and noise what makes you tick? If so, there are a plethora of restaurants downtown to feed your cravings for steak, seafood, asian cuisine…you name it, you’ll find it. Cafe Chloe will give you a taste of a classic french cuisine inspired menu, and a gorgeous taste of the bustling downtown to go along with it.

Regardless of where you end up this week, you must not miss out on the opportunity to take in all of the beauty that San Diego has to offer while your taste buds explore all of the creative, mouth-watering, local cuisine that every restaurant on this week’s list has in store for you.

Don’t miss San Diego Restaurant Week. Treat yourself. You’ll be happy you did!

Warmly,
Ashley
