Stay and Play San Diego Style…

Happy August!! We hope you enjoyed last week’s introduction. If it is your first time reading, welcome! You’re in for a treat. This week we’re going to give you a taste of the upcoming weekend’s places to stay, and places to play, in San Diego!

Can you believe how quickly the summer is flying by? Before you know it, fall will be here. And you will be kicking yourself for not having planned that great San Diego escape. So let us help! This August weekend we have a number of ways to relax and soak in the brilliant San Diego sun and sand. But first things first, you need a place to stay! This weekend, we have a lovely Ocean Beach property that is the perfect fit for a couple on a last minute getaway. A view of the ocean over Sunset Cliffs, and walk to the beaches and cafes…doesn’t get much better! Take a look at Bonaire’s Ocean View Studio.

Now that your home away from home is settled and you’re ready to explore, look no further than these fabulous San Diego events!

This Saturday, August 8th, feel the love at Waterfront Park in San Diego Harbor. This Annual Yoga Charity Event brings hundreds of people together to raise money for underprivileged women and children. I can’t think of a much better way to spend a Saturday than sharing the love, inside and out!

If you’re looking for something with a bit of a festival feel, look no further than the Hillcrest CityFest Street Fair!  going on on Sunday, August 9th. Stay past sundown and dance with Hillcrest’s best DJ’s under the Hillcrest sign with CITYFEST NIGHT! CityFest takes place in the heart of Hillcrest and is a huge celebration of community spirit through music, arts, crafts, and food and attracts 150,000+ attendees each year. CityFest 2015 will be on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 12 p.m. – 11 p.m. With a rich history of community and spirit, Hillcrest has much to celebrate. Games, activities, over 250 vendors, live headliner music, a beer garden and much more, CityFest is a celebration of spirit and play each year in San Diego, California.”
